Meet the Owner
Dylan’s Career Journey
Founded by owner and lead painter Dylan, Preferred Truck & Paintworks is built on a foundation of professional training, hands-on experience, and a passion for exceptional craftsmanship. Dylan began his journey at Lincoln Technical Institute in East Windsor, Connecticut, where he studied Collision Repair & Refinishing and graduated with high honors, earning multiple recommendations from his instructors. He then advanced through an internship before joining a high-end auto body shop, where he refined his skills and developed a strong attention to detail. After gaining experience as a lead painter in a flat-rate environment, Dylan discovered his true passion in the commercial truck industry, spending nearly a decade at one of New England’s top-rated commercial truck and equipment repair facilities before launching Preferred Truck & Paintworks in 2024.
Today, Preferred Truck & Paintworks specializes in everything from sandblasting and rust repair to complete color changes and frame refinishing. Every project is completed with precision, premium fleet coatings, and proven application techniques designed to withstand New England’s demanding conditions. Our commitment extends beyond creating a great finish—we focus on proper preparation, long-term protection, and durable results that keep trucks and equipment looking and performing at their best.
